School Branding – USC Iovine and Young Academy

The Iovine and Young Academy (IYA) offers an undergraduate degree in Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, and was created by record producer Jimmy Iovine and musician Andre Young, better known as Dr. Dre.

Ahead of the new school year, the IYA’s leadership engaged us to develop a school brand and design style for their 2018 recruitment materials.

 

This branding guide provided a design framework for university marketing and advertising campaigns.

 

Our desire was to create a branding system that reflected the Academy’s focus on original thought and innovation in order to attract students to its transformational program on one of the nation’s most dynamic university campuses.

 

Our clients were thrilled with the result, and we were excited to submit the piece to the American Advertising Awards for 2018. Winning an ADDY and seeing our work recognized for its excellence in branding and design was an inspiring experience.
