<strong>Closed Reynolds Landfill</strong><br>The landfill cap had been damaged prior to Millennium’s acquisition of the property. Millennium immediately began working with the applicable regulatory agencies to repair and restore the landfill cap. <strong>PetCoke Removal</strong><br>In 2012, Millennium accomplished one of the larger cleanup projects. We teamed up with Conoco Phillips, The Port of Longview, J.L. Storedahl and Sons Inc., and Terra Hydra to remove an estimated 100,000 tons of Green Petroleum Coke. In February of that year an Operations and Environmental Protection Plan was submitted to The Washington State Department of Ecology and Southwest Washington Clean Air Agency. <strong>Dock Structures</strong><br>These are pictures of the unpermitted structures that were built on the dock before Millennium acquired the property. Scrap conveyors had been welded together and supported on scrap pipe to form bents. Millennium worked with the regulatory agencies to obtain approvals to dismantle these structures. Millennium restored the dock to its original form. Today it is still used to unload alumina from ships just like the old Reynolds operation. <strong>Unpermitted Conveyors</strong><br>In July 2012, Millennium contracted with JH Kelly and Northwest Demolition to dismantle an estimated 4,500 feet of unpermitted conveyors around the site. It took 15 weeks to complete the entire dismantle. During that time no one was hurt and no equipment was damaged. An estimated 820 tons of steel and aluminum were recycled. <strong>Bulk Materials</strong><br>Tons of various bulk products that were stored in the 
North Plant Potrooms are in the process of being removed. Storedahl, C Ray, and R transport removed an average of 10 loads per day. Many of the products including cementitious material, carbon and the pet coke were reused or recycled. Materials that could not be beneficially reused were disposed in a permitted solid waste landfill. <strong>Employee Facility</strong><br>The employee facilities lacked maintenance between the Reynolds Aluminum days and the arrival of Millennium. The photos on the left show the shower room and old locker room. On the right are the upgraded showers, the new lighting, refinished floors, and duct work in the locker area. The photos below show the completely new ladies locker room achieved by converting an old office to a bathroom for the ladies of the workforce. <strong>Courtyards</strong><br>There were tons of scrap metal, attachments to heavy equipment, and miscellaneous garbage and many recyclable items. <strong>South Pot Line Bldgs</strong><br>The three 1941-era pot line buildings have been demolished by a team of union workers from Northwest Demolition and Dismantling. The materials from those buildings have been sorted, and almost all of the aluminum and steel from each of those massive buildings was moved offsite for recycling. <strong>Dike Repair</strong>

Dock 1 to be used for additional bulk products. <strong>COAL EXPORT TERMINAL STAGE 1</strong><br>Construct Docks 2 and 3, with a ship loader on Dock 2. Dock 3 operated as a layberth. Total export capacity of 25 million tonnes/year. <strong>COAL EXPORT TERMINAL STAGE 2</strong><br>Construct a ship loader on Dock 3. Increase export capacity to 44 million metric tonnes/year.

In February 2012, Millennium submitted several permit applications in order to develop a world-class export facility on the Columbia River at Longview, Washington. As we advance through the permitting process, we are committed to working closely with co-lead agencies comprised of the Army Corps of Engineers, Cowlitz County, and the Washington State Department of Ecology, to obtain all necessary permits and authorizations to construct the proposed coal export terminal. Once the permits are approved, construction will inject hundreds of millions of dollars into local economies and generate substantial tax revenues. This provides long-term economic benefits by creating and supporting hundreds of family-wage jobs throughout the region.
